This morning at about 8:20 AM eastern, the President of the Academy and ceremony host Alicia Keys announced the Grammy nominations. Cynics will go on about the irrelevancy of awards shows and the tone deafness of the Grammys, but you must admit from the billing of mostly fresh faces talented artists, this is going to make for a pretty entertaining ceremony.
