Becoming somewhat of a regular, singing and songwriting legend and drinker of unicorn blood Bruce Springsteen appeared with jovial late night host Stephen Colbert on his Late Show last night to play an interview game.

The Boss did an entire episode as couch and musical guest just over two weeks ago where he showed off his legendary Fender Esquire and played his classic “The River.”

This time, Stephen gave Bruce “The Colbert Questionert,” his series of questions that has its participants reveal their favourites across a number of categories, taken by Tom Hanks, Tiffany Haddish, and Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Springsteen was more than game delivering great stuff for fans of the G.O.A.T. performer.

His version of the best sandwich? Peanut butter and jelly served with a glass of milk at 3:00 AM.

When asked about the afterlife, Springsteen replied, “individual consciousness? Adios,”

His favourite smell is his wife Patty. His least favourite smell is sulfur.

His favourite action movie? The 1971 race car and cop-centric Vanishing Point, which features high speed California chases and conversations along the way. Automobiles…big surprise.

Springsteen also revealed he owns a baseball signed by the entire 1998 Yankees roster and that he has been bit several times by a brown recluse spider, which he is afraid of. When Colbert asked where he had been bit, Springsteen vaguely revealed, “My lower body.”

Colbert capped it off by having Springsteen define the rest of his life in five words…he chuckles: damn, what a fucking ride.

God, I love this man.
