Kendrick week has officially begun. Ahead of his beyond anticipated studio album Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers arriving this Friday, Kendrick Lamar has dropped his first piece of music with the Marvin Gaye "I Want You" sampling "The Heart Part 5."

The video for the uplifting song directed by frequent collaborator Dave Free under Kendrick's new PG Lang banner sees a one-shot style clip with Lamar rapping in front of a burgundy background and morphing into controversial black celebrities: OJ Simpson, Kanye West, Jussie Smollett, Kobe Bryant, Will Smith, and Nipsey Hussel. Lamar also paraphrases lyrics to Jay-Z's "Izzo" in the song's second verse.
