South By Southwest 2020 Announces Full List of Speakers

Trent Reznor, Janelle Monae, Ozzy Osbourne, and St. Vincent are among the thousands discussing art, culture, and the modern world.

South By Southwest has announced their full lineup of speakers for its annual conference and festival in Austin this March.

Boy is there a lot of exciting stuff.

Announced today, additions to the four figure list of luminary speakers include Janelle Monáe , Desus and Mero, 300 Entertainment CEO Kevin Liles, Judd Apatow interviewing Stephen Colbert, award winning music industry journalist Cherie Hu, and Noam Chomsky among many many others.

Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, and Damon Lindelof will command a conversation regarding their collaboration on HBO’s Watchmen, while alternative rock superstar St. Vincent will join bestie Sleater-Kinney’s Carrie Brownstein to talk about their new film The Nowhere Inn. Wu Tang Clan’s Raekwon the Chef will discuss his cannabis venture with Charlamagne tha God.

Elsewhere there’s Michael Moore in conversation with Pink Floyd architect Roger Waters, Ozzy Osbourne and his son Jack in conversation with standup comedian Jim Norton, and Spike Jonze discussing his upcoming documentary feature for Apple, Beastie Boys Story. To the surprise of some, Kim Kardashian West will discuss criminal justice reform and her new documentary on Oxygen called The Justice Project.

SXSW had previously announced speakers include Diplo, Kim Gordon, and super producer guitarist Nile Rodgers. The coveted keynote speech giver has yet to be announced. See a full list of featured speakers here.

SXSW began in 1987 and has grown substantially in scope every year. The conference also includes an interactive media convention, film festival, and music festival, the biggest of its kind with over 2000 acts performing throughout Austin.


The conference runs from March 12-22 and registration rates will increase in three days so fill it out here.
