Fresh off the announcement of his new record After Hours out March 20, Live Nation has announced “The After Hours Tour”, The Weeknd’s first trek since The Starboy Tour in 2017.
Well known for his theatricality and epic live show will hit the road for 57 dates and XO’s press release states that “The After Hours Tour” will include state of the art stage production and the most LED lights and video screens ever seen in arena show.
With a total of six Canadian dates including a two night stand in Toronto, the tour will kick off in Vancouver before taking Abel to Europe throughout October. Sabrina Claudio and Don Toliver will serve as openers on the North American leg while 88GLAM will replace Toliver for the remainder of the European dates.
Recently, he’s shared a few songs in anticipation of the new album including “After Hours”, “Blinding Lights”, and “Heartless”. The expertly curated press circuit will see the new wave R&B legend play Saturday Night Live March 7 on an episode hosted by Daniel Craig.
